Job Summary:

To ensure the availability of high-quality welded components for the next production process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MIG, TIG, and pulse welders to produce precise welds.
  • Set up and adjust welding fixtures as required to meet production needs.
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment, including changing wire, tips, and nozzles.
  • Read and interpret production prints to ensure accurate welding.
  • Monitor and maintain the man cooler system to ensure optimal performance.
  • Use a pull tester to inspect welds and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Label and identify products being welded with an operator tag, including the item number.
  • Collaborate with vendors to maintain an inventory of welding supplies.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and perform mainframe functions as required.
  • Develop and maintain welding certifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Identify and report quality issues to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Operate robotic equipment as needed to support production.
  • Work flexible hours, including overtime, to meet production demands.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous welding experience and certification desirable.
  • AWS certification preferred.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Ability to safely lift and move up to 40 pounds.
