Job Title: Tooler Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Tooler Machinist to join our team. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for constructing and making aluminum tool/molds from rough casting to a tool/mold ready for production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct and make aluminum tool/molds from rough casting to a tool/mold ready for production.
• Use various hand tools, measuring devices, and equipment such as lathes, milling machines, aluminum welders, drills, etc., and make the tool/mold to drawings or other specifications.
• Install required plumbing and troubleshoot mold defects.
• Making tool modifications, completing repairs or preventative maintenance on tools, and troubleshooting mold defects.
• May also be required to troubleshoot tooling on the press.
• Plan layouts and construct jigs and other items as required.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment with regular housekeeping and use of PPE.
• Actively participate in training of teammates in gaining new skills.
• Actively participate in Continuous Improvement Program.
• Participation in the 5S program.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in mold making, tool repairs, and modifications.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read and understand blueprints.
• Skilled in the use of all machine shop equipment including lathes, milling machines, radial drill, aluminum and steel welding equipment, and various hand tools.
• Must be able to plan and follow the job through to completion doing all the necessary work required of the job.
• Must be able to work with equipment required for plumbing on tool/molds.

Working Hours:

3:00pm -11:30pm | Monday – Friday

*Some weekend OT shifts will be required.

*Training on 1st shift, then moving to 2nd shift.

Pay Rate:

$23.50+
