Job Title: Senior Transmission Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transmission Engineer to lead the design of complex transmission line projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leading technical design staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design of transmission line projects from conceptual phase to completion
  • Provide technical oversight and expertise to project teams
  • Develop and implement design criteria, sag-tension calculations, and wire selection
  • Lead the development of specifications for construction, hardware, and material
  • Collaborate with suppliers, clients, and other engineering disciplines
  • Participate in project schedule, scope, budget, and staffing planning
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards, including NESC and GO95
  • Lead quality reviews and deliverables for multiple CAD-related software
  • Prepare and present technical reports and project budgets
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to junior engineers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related degree from an ABET-accredited program
  • 7 years of transmission engineering experience
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred
  • Expert knowledge of transmission concepts, practices, codes, and procedures
  • Proficiency in Bentley Power Line system-based programs, SAG 10, L-PILE, and AUTO CAD
  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills
