Position Overview

The Junior Product Manager will play a pivotal role in assisting with the formulation and implementation of product strategies, marketing initiatives, and promotional campaigns. This position encompasses comprehensive product management responsibilities, including defining requirements, gathering feedback from surgical professionals, crafting product messaging, orchestrating product launches, engaging with sales teams and customers, and forecasting product performance to align with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a segment of the product portfolio from initial concept through to phase-out.
  • Contribute to the marketing strategy by analyzing market trends, defining product specifications for surgical applications, monitoring supply and demand fluctuations, and identifying the needs of surgeon clients.
  • Support the enhancement of market presence in the U.S. by formulating marketing strategies and programs for each product, while coordinating training efforts.
  • Assist in the creation of sales materials, optimizing customer service workflows, and developing both short- and long-term forecasts for the assigned product line.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional teams to support the design, development, and rollout of products and service offerings.
  • Identify and prioritize current and future product opportunities by assessing market trends.
  • Enhance professional and technical expertise through participation in training sessions, reviewing industry literature, building professional networks, and engaging in relevant associations.
  • Represent the company at marketing events, including seminars and trade shows.
  • Willingness to travel between 15%-40% as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, ideally within the technology or orthopedic device sectors, particularly in spinal solutions.

Compensation

Alphatec Spine adheres to state and federal wage and hour regulations, with compensation based on the candidate's qualifications, education, skill set, experience, and internal equity. The salary range for this position is $68,000 to $85,000 annually.
