Industrial Engineer Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer Intern to join our team at Blue Origin. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our experienced engineers in support of our business units.

This 12-week internship will provide you with hands-on experience in various aspects of Industrial Engineering, including time studies, work sampling, facility layout, statistical analysis, cost/benefit analysis, and manufacturing process design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of Industrial Engineering projects
  • Conduct time studies and work sampling to analyze and improve processes
  • Design and implement facility layouts to optimize workflow and efficiency
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement cost/benefit analyses to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • Available to work full-time for a minimum of 12 weeks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for space exploration and a desire to contribute to a dynamic and innovative organization
