Nitsch Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Structural Project Manager to join our team in Massachusetts. As a key member of our structural engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of structural engineering projects for local and state government clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee all aspects of structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Staff and supervise the project team, coordinating their efforts and making decisions that reflect the interests of both the company and its clients.
  • Review projects for technical quality control and perform structural analysis.
  • Prepare construction documents, specifications, estimates, and engineering reports.
  • Develop new business and serve as the face of Nitsch for conferences and professional organizations.
  • Prepare proposals and budgets, and supervise Structural Engineers and Designers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Massachusetts or ability to obtain MA PE within one year if licensed in another state.
  • 15+ years of experience in structural design, with recent experience as a Project Manager preferred.
  • Thorough familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and structural software such as STAAD, AASHTOWare bridge rating, and Bentley's Bridge Design.
  • Familiarity with building design codes and MassDOT's bridge design policies and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of project management roles and responsibilities and a history of successful client management.
