Role Overview

As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with professionals across various engineering fields, including Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, and Structural disciplines, to deliver exceptional services for unique industrial projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the electrical engineering scope for projects and spearhead the design initiatives.
  • Create comprehensive drawings, including site plans, power/signal/lighting layouts, equipment configurations, one-line diagrams, and control systems.
  • Support construction administration tasks by interpreting plans, monitoring construction activities, and ensuring compliance with specifications and schedules.
  • Mentor junior team members by sharing your knowledge and professional insights.
  • Lead engineering teams, overseeing all technical, quality, financial, and safety aspects from inception to completion.
  • Engage in business development activities, collaborating with management to enhance service offerings and manage client relationships.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • Professional Engineer registration in relevant states.
  • Ten to fifteen years of progressive experience in technical design, focusing on industrial facility power distribution and control systems.
  • Experience managing electrical projects with significant service fees.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SKM Power Tools, and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.

Additional Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Professional registration in additional states.
  • Experience in responding to Requests for Proposals and estimating design fees.
  • A track record in business development and securing new project opportunities.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing less experienced professionals.

Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, and site assessments is essential.
