Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Kindred Hospital Sycamore. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for administering general and specific X-rays, preparing patients for exams, and developing film in accordance with photographic techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer general and specific X-rays, following prescribed techniques and ensuring proper equipment setup.
- Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and positioning them correctly.
- Develop film in accordance with photographic techniques, ensuring high-quality images.
- Clean and disinfect X-ray rooms and equipment, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements
- Completion of an ARRT-accredited program in radiologic technology.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- One year of experience in diagnostic imaging, with a strong understanding of radiologic principles and techniques.
