OSF HealthCare is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Care Guide to join our team in Urgent Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by managing clerical and clinical tasks, occupational health duties, and imaging, registration, vitals, and drug screens.
Responsibilities- Manage clerical and clinical tasks, including imaging, registration, vitals, and drug screens.
- Provide exceptional customer service and phone etiquette.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth patient experience.
- Float between various facilities as needed.
- Fully Licensed Rad Tech: Completion of a formal Radiography program with associated certificate or degree, Licensed with IEMA, American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers) completed within 2 weeks of hire, ARRT (R) registry eligible, and must complete ARRT registry within 6 months of hire.
- Limited License Rad Tech: High School Diploma/GED, 1 year healthcare experience, Limited scope testing certification provided by ARRT, American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers), and completion of limited scope test provided by ARRT.
- Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent, previous experience with an electronic health record, and knowledge of urgent care medical specialty.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, Epic, and exceptional customer service and phone etiquette.
