Tasting Room Ambassador/Server

Maryhill Winery, a premier winery in the Northwest, is seeking a part-time Ambassador for our Vancouver Tasting Room & Bistro. As an Ambassador, you will provide exceptional service, have a great attitude, and a love for wine.

• Sales experience preferred
• Demonstrate superior guest service skills
• Ensure knowledge of legal drinking age and procedures
• Verify identification for guests under 30
• Familiarity with alcohol's effects on mental and physical abilities
• Exercise good judgment when serving alcohol
• Perform tasks outside of server responsibilities as assigned by supervisors/management
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Enter orders accurately into the Point of Sales System
• Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties as assigned
• Prior cash handling experience
• Follow safety and sanitization practices
• Communicate guest issues to supervisors/management
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, team player, strong work ethic
• Enjoy interacting with the public
• Thrives in a busy environment

• Wine knowledge
• Two years' experience in guest service/hospitality
• Must be at least 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to lift 40-50 lbs frequently without concern
• Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
• Washington State Food Handlers and MAST certification required or ability to obtain upon hire

• Competitive hourly rate: $16.28 + tips (average $7-$10 per hour)
