We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at Select Medical. This is an exciting opportunity to provide compassionate care and clinical treatment to chronically and critically ill patients.

About the Role:

  • Receiving admissions and/or transfers to the unit, ensuring a smooth transition for patients.
  • Conducting initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments, identifying potential areas of concern.
  • Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems, maintaining clear records of patient progress.
  • Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data, including labs and telemetry, making informed decisions about patient care.
  • Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately, minimizing errors and delays.
  • Competence in Rapid Response and code events, responding promptly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Promoting continuous quality improvement, collaborating with colleagues to enhance patient outcomes.

  • A competitive salary of $57 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights ($4.00) and weekends ($6.00), totaling up to $67.00 per hour.

Requirements:

  • A valid State RN License.
  • BLS certification at hire.
