About the Role

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a skilled Tree Climber to join our team. As an Arborist and Tree Care Specialist, you will be responsible for working in trees to perform general tree care, including pruning, cabling, bracing, lightning protection, and tree removals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize proper pruning techniques to trim trees, clear and chip tree debris, and dispose of tree debris safely.
  • Ensure the work area beneath and around trees is clear and properly marked to prevent public safety hazards.
  • Maintain climbing gear and tree care equipment to ensure all equipment and tools are safe and in working order.
  • Ensure all crew members follow Company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous climbing experience is required.
  • Ability to become certified in EHAP, First-Aid, and CPR is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to successfully follow directions and complete requests.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
