The Unit Supervisor acts as a key leader within the interdisciplinary team, offering guidance and mentorship to Youth Care Professionals.

Benefits Overview:
- Starting salary for a Unit Supervisor is $50,382, with potential increases based on experience.

- Facilitate effective communication through timely documentation and participation in weekly team meetings.
- Serve on the Interdisciplinary Care Team for each youth, collaborating with various internal and external partners.
- Provide transportation for residents as necessary.
- On a rotating basis, ensure effective campus supervision by fulfilling supervisory duties at least once a week, which may include overnight and/or weekend shifts.
- Develop individualized daily structures tailored to meet the specific needs of a high-acuity population, aligned with the age and functioning level of each resident.
- Encourage life skills programming to assist youth in achieving stabilization and self-regulation as primary outcomes.
- Integrate a variety of evidence-supported group modalities aimed at teaching youth essential relational, stress tolerance, and impulse control skills into the daily programming for the unit.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time role. Workdays are Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday, with shifts lasting 8 hours and a 30-minute lunch break. Each Supervisor is expected to work two late nights (2 PM - 10 PM), with remaining shifts varying between 11 AM - 7 PM and/or 10 AM - 6 PM. Flexibility in work hours is required, including evenings and weekends at both on-site and off-site locations. Supervisors may be eligible for a flexible schedule with prior approval from a Treatment Team Manager or Program Director. This position is classified as essential staff for campus emergencies, including severe weather.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in child welfare, working with children and/or adolescents.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree from an accredited institution.
Additional Requirements:
- A valid, active driver's license with fewer than 7 points is required, as this position involves driving Everstand vehicles.
