Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and energetic Operations Lead to join our team. As an Operations Lead, you will be responsible for driving the customer experience and ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for our customers. You will also be responsible for general hospital maintenance, including cleaning, laundry, stocking, and inventory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the customer experience and host the VEG triage
  • Manage customer wait times
  • Handle all phone inquiries and transfer calls to the appropriate party
  • Ensure prompt greeting for customers and their pets
  • Oversee the reception desk and refreshment center
  • Supervise the accurate entry of customer/patient information and payment processing
  • Manage cash drawer reconciliation and oversee EOD processes
  • Confirm the front desk is covered and maintained at all times
  • Train and monitor new hires in daily front desk processes and operations
  • Manage inventory counts and audits for all hospital products and supplies
  • Manage inventory controls, including reorder points, expiration dates, and product turnover
  • Maintain spend within budget set by HM
  • Develop and maintain contacts for vendors, service reps, and drug reps
  • Drive upkeep and organization of storage room, pharmacy, and other areas where supplies are stored
  • Maintain a log of all invoices
  • Ensure all stock areas meet OSHA guidelines for safety
  • Lead communication regarding inventory with the team
  • Lead training on inventory management

Requirements

  • Prior experience with animals in a veterinary environment is a major plus
  • Must have 1-2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Have a servant leadership mentality and lead by example
  • Knowledge of Infinity/ImproMed is a major plus
