Global Security Strategist

Job Summary
Chevron is seeking a highly skilled Global Security Strategist to join its team. As a key member of the Global Security organization, this individual will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategic plans to protect Chevron's people and assets.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage policies, programs, and processes that support Global Security's strategy and leadership of the enterprise security function.
• Provide risk-based security advice and solutions to key partners in business units and corporate departments.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, clarify guidance, automate tools, and strengthen implementation of security risk assessment and risk management programs.
• Liaise with corporate and business unit security teams to identify and share best practices to help meet business needs.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to improve alignment with existing processes and tools.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in public or private sector intelligence, law enforcement, military, security, or policy work.
• Demonstrated knowledge of risk assessment and risk management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to draft clear, concise, impactful guidance in support of strategic programs within large and diverse organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Capable and comfortable developing and delivering effective presentations for diverse audiences.
• Proven initiative and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interest in world affairs.
• Proven ability to deliver on commitments and meet timelines.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Possession of a valid passport and ability to travel internationally.

Preferred Qualifications
• Masters' degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• Foreign language ability
• Oil and gas industry experience

Relocation and International Considerations
• Relocation will be considered.
• Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
