We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Radiation Therapy PRN to join our team at Reston Hospital Center. As a key member of our Radiation Therapy Department, you will work closely with our Radiation Oncologist, physicist, and other radiation therapists to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of radiation therapy.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the delivery of radiation therapy treatments to patients
- Collaborate with the radiation oncologist and physicist to develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor patients during treatment and report any adverse reactions or concerns
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding radiation therapy and its effects
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- 2+ years of experience in oncology nursing
- OCN certification preferred
