Position Overview:

Hawkins HR Consulting, LLC is in search of skilled professionals for the role of Process Engineer. This position is pivotal within our client's manufacturing operations, emphasizing the enhancement of production methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support on the manufacturing floor, offering troubleshooting expertise and facilitating the technical development and training of operational staff.
  • Concentrate on elevating safety standards, product quality, and operational efficiency while suggesting automation solutions when applicable.
  • Engage in the introduction of new products by participating in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), reviewing component and tool designs, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create comprehensive documentation including machine manuals, process specifications, and operational guidelines for production cells.
  • Oversee the evaluation of new materials, processes, and equipment prior to their deployment in production.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, such as Chemical, Mechanical, Ceramics, Plastics, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Prior experience with extrusion processes is highly desirable.
  • Certification in Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) and Lean Manufacturing methodologies is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment to achieve collective objectives.

Compensation and Benefits:
