This client is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their team and contribute to their success. If you are passionate about project management and have a strong background in construction, please read on.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management assistance to ensure timely and budget-friendly project completion.
  • Manage and develop assigned staff to maximize job performance and career potential.
  • Collaborate with the project team to process meeting minutes, Owner Change Orders, and requests for information.
  • Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule.
  • Interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the project details.
  • Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program.
  • Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and fee and pricing decisions.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of commercial construction experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Team player with a positive and driven attitude.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Desire to further career as a Project Manager.
  • Desire to focus within the Healthcare Construction market.
  • Willingness to travel as required by the client.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
