Job Summary:


As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will provide high-quality patient care and services to patients and families. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver care that is patient-centered and evidence-based.


Essential Responsibilities:



  • Provide nursing care and services to patients and families in the Emergency Department.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Utilize the nursing process to deliver care and make decisions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Teach and mentor nursing staff on special tasks and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Hawaii.
  • CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working in an Emergency Department or critical care setting.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
  • Coursework in basic EKG interpretation.
