Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance on electrical systems and machinery, including thorough inspections, repairs, and component replacements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems using a variety of tools and methodologies.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and company protocols while executing maintenance tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to effectively resolve maintenance challenges.
  • Keep precise records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and inventory management.
  • Install, modify, and enhance electrical systems and components as required.
  • Respond swiftly to urgent maintenance requests and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or an associate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, particularly with electrical systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to troubleshoot intricate issues.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and various control systems.
  • Understanding of mechanical systems and their maintenance requirements.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and their upkeep.
