We are seeking a highly skilled SRCC Analyst to join our Sponsored Research Contracting and Compliance team at the San Diego State University Research Foundation. As an integral part of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the foundation's mission by providing effective award negotiations, initiating the subcontracting process for sponsored programs, and ensuring compliance with regulations and requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Review and process award agreements and prior authorizations to verify completion of SDSU compliance requirements.
- Prepare and draft subagreements and amendments for review and signature using approved templates.
- Ensure all relevant compliance is in place or seek approval to deviate from established processes and procedures.
- Assist the Director in reviewing and implementing procedures related to the processing of awards and preparation of subagreements.
- Completion of sufficient college coursework to successfully perform the required duties of the position and two years of progressively responsible related experience.
- Two years of progressively responsible experience in an institution of higher education, research institution, or non-profit organization, or related contract review experience.
- Previous experience working in sponsored programs-related compliance, award review and processing, and subagreement preparation.
- Previous experience interpreting and applying regulations and requirements.
- Experience using software for research administration such as Banner, Etrieve, InfoEd, or other internal award tracking systems.
