About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SRCC Analyst to join our Sponsored Research Contracting and Compliance team at the SDSU Research Foundation. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful processing of awards and subagreements, while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze award agreements and prior authorizations to expend documents, ensuring compliance with established processes and procedures.
  • Draft and process subagreements and amendments for review and signature using approved templates.
  • Assist the Director in reviewing and implementing procedures related to the processing of awards and preparation of subagreements.
  • Participate in committees and task force groups as needed.

Requirements

  • Completion of sufficient college coursework to successfully perform the required duties of the position and two years of progressively responsible related experience.
  • Two years of progressively responsible experience in an institution of higher education, research institution, or non-profit organization, or related contract review experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in sponsored programs related compliance, award review and processing, and subagreement preparation.
  • Previous experience interpreting and applying regulations and requirements.
  • Experience using software for research administration such as Banner, Etrieve, InfoEd, or other internal award tracking systems.
