Job Description

The Leasing Consultant plays a vital role in presenting our community to prospective residents, leasing apartments, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a professional who can work in conjunction with the property management team to achieve leasing goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present the community to prospective residents through personalized tours, gathering information regarding their needs and qualification.
  • Lease apartments by actively marketing and promoting the apartment community.
  • Responsible for accurately and timely input for all telephone, email, and walk-in traffic into Lead Tracking Solutions/Yardi.
  • Compile welcome paperwork with lease, associated addendums, and forms in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Establish move-in appointments for reviewing the lease and lease documents with new residents.
  • Provide customer service per company service standards.
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle resident complaints and concerns, and direct them to the Assistant Manager or Property Manager when appropriate.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year sales and/or customer service experience in at least one of the following industries: property management, hospitality, retail, real estate.
  • Apartment leasing experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook).
  • Yardi experience preferred. Lead Tracking Solutions experience a plus.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree or some college preferred.
