We are seeking a dedicated Product Education Specialist to enhance our Marketing division. Reporting directly to the Product Group Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering extensive product education to both internal staff and external stakeholders, including OEM customer product managers, distribution sales teams, and indirect clients such as cabinet makers.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include:
- Creating and developing training materials, presentations, instructional videos, and hands-on demonstration models for effective training sessions.
- Assessing training requirements and formulating programs to address identified needs.
- Collaborating with various internal departments to evaluate product training necessities for specific teams or individuals.
- Collecting feedback from participants to gauge the success of training initiatives.
- Working both independently and collaboratively within the marketing team and across departments to prioritize and complete tasks.
- Traveling domestically and internationally as needed.
- Maintaining a flexible work schedule while being available as required.
- Organizing and leading meetings focused on the development of new training curricula or initiatives.
- Coordinating various training activities.
- Producing educational materials and resources.
- Creating job aids, learner guides, and instructional content for trainees.
- Gathering learner feedback and monitoring training outcomes.
- Handling administrative tasks related to training management.
- Updating course content to ensure its relevance and effectiveness.
- Collaborating on the production of educational and instructional videos.
- Assisting in the creation and facilitation of webinars, workshops, and other innovative learning opportunities.
- Providing support in addressing customer inquiries and managing escalated customer service issues.
- Contributing to the development and revision of marketing literature and information.
- Identifying and creating learning opportunities at industry trade shows.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in training within a marketing or manufacturing context.
Additional qualifications include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with diverse training methodologies.
- Understanding of kitchen cabinet design, assembly, and installation, including materials and tools.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to effectively teach and train others.
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching abilities.
- Skills in managing productive meetings and group dynamics.
- Ability to foster constructive and cooperative relationships over time.
- Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.
- Proficient in time management for self and others to achieve daily objectives in a fast-paced environment.
- Competence in using computers and software for data entry and information processing.
