As an Operations Service Manager at Burlington, a leading off-price retailer, you will play a pivotal role in the store's leadership team, overseeing the comprehensive operations of the store. You will act as a role model for associates, embodying and promoting the company's Core Values, fostering trust and respect among colleagues, building cohesive teams, and driving operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee the Customer Service and Cashier teams, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards, safeguarding company assets, and maintaining accurate record-keeping.
+ Provide support to Customer Service Supervisors to meet service expectations and facilitate smooth customer transactions.
+ Manage the execution of operational and receiving procedures, ensuring a seamless flow of processes.
+ Monitor inventory accuracy by collaborating with the Receiving Supervisor on the receiving process, transfers, and charge-backs.
+ Assist the Store Manager in various functions including staffing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.
+ Support other operational areas of the store as required.
Qualified candidates should possess 3+ years of experience in Retail Management or Store Operations within an Off Price, Big Box, Specialty, or medium to large multi-unit retail organization. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be capable of lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 40 lbs and should be proficient in using scheduling and reporting software.
