Electrified Garage Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electric Vehicle Repair Expert to join our team at Electrified Garage. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex electrical and electronic systems in electric vehicles.

• Diagnostic and Repair: Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair work on electric vehicles, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and accurately, in accordance with Electrified Garage and EV manufacturer standards.
• Communication and Collaboration: Communicate with Service Advisors to obtain needed parts and collaborate with the team to ensure that all work is completed on time and to a high standard.
• Quality Control: Perform Quality Control checks on repaired vehicles to ensure that all repairs are complete and of a high standard.
• Technical Expertise: Maintain a high knowledge level of high voltage, low voltage, and general electric vehicle systems, including experience with harness builds, connector pin-outs, crimping, and cable installation, as well as soldering small and large projects.
• Vehicle Inspection and Testing: Perform electrical tests and inspections, including measuring continuity, current, voltage, and resistance of electrical and electronic systems, and road test customer vehicles to ensure that all repairs are complete and functioning correctly.
• Customer Service: Ensure that each customer's vehicle is kept clean, undamaged, and without changes to the comfort and convenience systems, and notify the Lead Technician and/or Manager on Duty immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
• Shop Maintenance: Keep the shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all Electrified Garage owned tools at all times.
• Attendance and Punctuality: Adhere to all attendance, punctuality, and timekeeping standards.

• Experience working with electric vehicles and high voltage systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
