Key Responsibilities- Assist the classroom teacher in planning and implementing engaging activities and experiences for Pre-Kindergarten students.
- Provide individualized support to students, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with the teacher to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in home visits and accompany the teacher to support student learning.
- Assist with setting up the classroom, preparing snacks, and maintaining a clean and organized learning space.
- Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- At least 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- Pass the Ohio Department of Education approved Parapro examination administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) or by the Ohio State University (OSU).
- High school diploma or GED recognized by the Ohio Department of Education.
