Instructional Librarian

Columbus Technical College seeks a skilled Instructional Librarian to provide high-quality library services and support to faculty, staff, and students. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering instructional library classes, reference services, and other support activities to enhance the academic experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver instructional library classes and workshops to promote information literacy and research skills.
• Provide reference services to faculty, staff, and students, including research assistance and guidance on library resources.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate library services into curriculum and instructional design.
• Manage library collections, including selection, processing, and maintenance of materials.
• Develop and maintain library guides, tutorials, and other online resources to support student learning.
• Participate in library events, workshops, and conferences to stay current with best practices and emerging trends.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution.
• Experience working in a library setting, preferably in an academic or research environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in library software and systems, including integrated library systems and online databases.
