KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at student retention.
  • Part-time instructors are expected to remind students of outstanding assignments and foster participation among all students, while promptly identifying and assisting those who may be struggling, referring them for appropriate support.
  • Deliver all lectures, laboratory sessions, and clinical instruction in alignment with the prescribed curriculum.
  • Adhere to current course outlines, objectives, and evaluation criteria, or develop these as directed by the Program Manager.
  • Track student attendance and retention, documenting as required by administration.
  • Process final grades in accordance with institutional policy.
  • Assess assignments, provide timely feedback, and assign final grades to all students.
  • Offer educational support to students during designated office hours or by appointment.
  • Fill in for classes as needed.
  • Advise students on academic policies and performance standards, maintaining communication with the Program Manager regarding these matters.
  • Submit requests for supplies and equipment to the Lead Instructor or Program Manager in writing.
  • Oversee inventory of equipment and supplies in secured areas.
  • Obtain consumable supplies and educational materials from the administrative office as necessary.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Communicate with the Program Manager and Student Academic Advisors on all student-related issues.
  • Engage in professional development activities to uphold accreditation standards, including attending seminars, reading current literature, and participating in online courses.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings as scheduled.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required).
  • Qualifications may vary based on program and class level.
  • All inquiries regarding qualifications should refer to the Faculty Qualifications Table for Teaching.

COMPENSATION:
  • Hourly Non-Exempt - Part Time.
  • Wage Range: $25/hr. - $35/hr.
  • Compensation is based on experience, knowledge, and educational background.

SCHEDULE:
  • 4-hour shift
  • Day shift

EXPERIENCE:
  • Clinical Diagnostic Radiography: 2 years (Required).

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
  • ARRT(R) or equivalent limited license.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required).

COMMUTE REQUIREMENT:
  • Ability to commute to Salt Lake City, UT (Required).

RELOCATION REQUIREMENT:
  • Must relocate to Salt Lake City, UT before commencing work (Required).

WORK LOCATION: In-person.
