Seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at the University of New Mexico Hospitals. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced RN to provide direct nursing care to patients and lead clinical teams in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Description:

About the Job:

This role involves working within the nursing process to deliver safe direct care to assigned patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans, and serving as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe direct care to assigned patients as required
  • Work within Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures
  • Implement and document individualized care plans incorporating age-specific considerations
  • Participate in orientation and assume precepting and evaluation responsibilities of new personnel
  • Assist with special tests and procedures, ensure proper consent has been obtained

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • RN license in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement
  • CPR certification for Healthcare/BLS Pro or Prof Rescuers within 30 days
