Job Summary

As a Healthcare Network Development Specialist at Christus Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the contracted provider network is educated and oriented into the CHRISTUS Health Plan with operational understanding and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provider Onboarding and Education: Develop and implement strategies to educate newly contracted providers on the CHRISTUS Health Plan process, ensuring a seamless integration into the network.
  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for network providers, resolving issues and fostering collaborative relationships that facilitate provider engagement, integration, and path to value arrangements.
  • Network Configuration and Incentive-Based Payment Models: Apply network configuration and incentive-based payment models to improve quality and efficiency, leveraging financial and utilization data to provide actionable goals and opportunities for shared savings.
  • Clinical Education and Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate clinical education, leveraging internal partners' clinical experience, and partner with internal stakeholders to create a seamless experience for providers.
  • Travel Requirements: Travel requirement is 85%.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Analytical and Technical Skills: Analytic ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines, proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills, good judgment, initiative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience: 5 years' experience in the healthcare field, provider-facing, with prior experience working with Medicare and Commercial Payers, healthcare claim knowledge, presentation/training experience, and experience with ACO, Risk-Based, Value-Based Contracting highly desirable.
  • Driver's License: Required.
