Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Pain Management Physician to enhance our clinic's capabilities in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be trained in anesthesia and possess substantial experience in interventional pain management techniques.
This role offers significant earning potential with an expected total compensation of $750k annually, alongside a pathway to ownership in an Ambulatory Surgery Center within two years.
Utilizing a strong foundation in anesthesia, the Pain Management Physician will be tasked with formulating and executing effective pain management plans, incorporating both surgical and non-surgical methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough evaluations and provide treatment for patients suffering from chronic and acute pain.
2. Employ a patient-centered approach to determine the origin of pain, assess its intensity and duration, and implement appropriate management strategies.
3. Perform interventional techniques, including spinal injections, nerve blocks, and minimally invasive surgeries to alleviate pain.
4. Utilize expertise in anesthesia to manage pain effectively before, during, and after surgical procedures.
5. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, psychologists, and nursing staff, to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
6. Educate patients and their families about pain management options, potential side effects, and associated risks.
7. Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the fields of pain management and anesthesia.
8. Adhere to all relevant federal and state regulations, medical board guidelines, and facility policies regarding medical practice and controlled substances.
9. Maintain precise and current patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection laws.
10. Engage in ongoing professional development and remain updated on advancements in the specialty.
Qualifications:
- Must possess an Arizona MD/DO License (or be eligible to obtain one).
- Completion of fellowship training in Anesthesia.
