We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team as an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Facilitator at HEALTH CONNECT AMERICA, INC. In this role, you will provide mental and behavioral health services through assessments and group sessions, focusing on clients with addictive and co-occurring disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational programming, including didactic, audiovisual, and other formats of teaching that are appropriate for this level of care.
  • Maintain treatment documentation, including psychosocial assessments and admission documentation, contacts with referral sources and family, urine drug screens, and ensure that treatment has been authorized with the payer source both initial and concurrent.
  • Support business development initiatives, including presenting cases at the weekly treatment team and participating in clinical supervision as scheduled and/or necessary.
  • Develop a system for tracking current census, scheduling, and performance of assessments of potential admissions.
  • Maintain current CPR certification, yearly TB testing, and annual TB Screening Certification as required by the state.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
  • 2+ years' experience working in addictive/co-occurring disorders or 3 years' experience in addictive/co-occurring disorders and active in the process for licensure as an alcohol and drug abuse counselor.
