Floor Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Floor Care Technician to join our Encompass Onsite team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our client locations.

• Perform routine floor maintenance, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and shampooing of hard surfaces and carpets.
• Vacuum, bonnet, and extract carpets, stairwells, and upholstery.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all floors, including mopping, dusting, and wall cleaning.
• Operate specialized power equipment and maintain a safe working environment.
• Proactively plan work schedules to complete daily tasks and report any needed repairs to supervisors.

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public.
• Previous floor care experience is highly preferred.
• Prior solid surface care experience is a plus, but not required.
