Position Overview


The CSO plays a pivotal role in overseeing branch operations, managing personnel, and ensuring the effective delivery of banking services. This position encompasses operational compliance, sales support, financial oversight, and community engagement.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

BRANCH OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer needs

Direct and organize the workflow of branch operations

Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement focused on customer satisfaction

Provide timely training and development opportunities for staff

Facilitate open communication across all branches

Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and manage staff accountability

Review operational workflows regularly to ensure efficiency

PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT

Implement personnel policies and procedures as established

Conduct performance reviews in a timely manner

SALES AND SERVICE OF BANKING PRODUCTS

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of banking products to effectively assist customers

Ensure staff are well-trained on product offerings within their first year

Deliver exceptional customer service in all interactions

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Address audit findings promptly and ensure compliance with reporting deadlines

OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss performance and expectations

Review performance standards with staff and update as necessary

Provide scheduling support for staff as needed

FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT

Review and verify all financial documentation for accuracy

FACILITY MANAGEMENT

Maintain relationships with external vendors for facility upkeep

Ensure that all facilities meet management standards

COMMITTEE INVOLVEMENT

Participate in various committees as required

Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
