Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Description:

This Primary Care Nurse Practitioner role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a nurse practitioner, you will be responsible for managing general family medicine cases, chronic complex disease management, and prescribing medication for patients with substance use disorders.

You will also handle acute injuries on a walk-in basis and have the potential for extension. The electronic medical record system used is RPMS.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care services to patients of all ages
  • Conduct routine check-ups, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans
  • Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
  • Prescribe medication as needed and monitor patient response
  • Handle acute injuries and emergency situations

Requirements:

  • DNP or MSN degree from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Maine
  • Experience working in a primary care setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
