Position Overview

The Evening Housekeeping Manager plays a vital role in supporting the housekeeping department's operations. Key responsibilities include:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure optimal cleanliness in guest rooms and public spaces.

• Conduct inspections of guest accommodations, common areas, and service areas for cleanliness standards.

• Train, motivate, and guide team members, providing coaching and corrective feedback as necessary.

• Implement and maintain a systematic cleaning schedule.

• Manage inventory levels for supplies and linens.

• Respond promptly and courteously to housekeeping requests from guests or management.

• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Evening Shift Details:

The selected candidate will undergo a two-week training period on the morning shift before transitioning to the 3 PM - 11 PM Evening Housekeeping Manager role.

Qualifications

Required Experience, Education, Skills & Physical Abilities:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and speaking English is essential.
  • Prior supervisory experience is highly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning agents and their safe usage is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and carry up to 10 pounds.
  • Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Flexibility in hours and days worked is necessary.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse personalities.
