Job Title: Registered Nurse Supervisor

At HCP Talent, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Arverne, NY.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for collaborating with the DON and ADON to assess, manage, and oversee day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department, ensuring adherence to current regulations, guidelines, and facility policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and problem solve any clinical and administrative emergencies that arise on the tour.
  • Support staff through education and leadership, holding them accountable when necessary.
  • Conduct daily rounds in the Nursing Services Department to guarantee that all nursing staff adhere to recognized nursing standards.
  • Act on behalf of the leadership team, providing great coaching and customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff.
  • Participate in facility surveys conducted by authorized government agencies, as directed by the DON and ADON.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid NYS RN License.
  • 1+ year experience in Long-Term Care required.
  • 1+ year Experience as an RN required.
