Position Overview
As a Metal Preparation and Powder Coating Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the cleaning and preparation of metal components for powder coating applications. Your responsibilities will include utilizing a steam cleaning system to wash parts, efficiently racking items for coating, and ensuring that coated materials are properly transferred into curing ovens. Additionally, you will manage the inventory of powder colors to maintain optimal levels for production.
Compensation and Work Environment
- Attractive hourly wage ranging from $17 to $19, commensurate with your skills and experience.
- Opportunity to work the second shift, which operates from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM.
- Engaging work atmosphere within the production coating area, providing exposure to diverse operational conditions.
Candidate Requirements
- A high school diploma is mandatory; coursework in painting or related fields is advantageous.
- Prior experience in powder coating is beneficial but not essential.
- Must be able to pass annual pulmonary evaluations and be comfortable wearing respiratory protection, hoods, or full-body suits for extended durations in various environments.
