Join our team at Weaver, a full-service national accounting, advisory, and consulting firm. As a Tax Intern, you will play a vital role in client engagements during peak season. Our internship program serves as a valuable first step in a long-term career with Weaver. By the end of your internship, you will have gained extensive practical knowledge and made lasting connections with your fellow interns, Weaver Leaders, and colleagues. • Training, both formal and on-the-job, throughout the duration of your internship
• Opportunity to prepare tax returns from start to finish
• Exposure to multiple types of tax returns (individuals, businesses, trusts, etc.) for clients in various industries

What we expect from you:

• Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field with the goal to obtain the credit hours necessary to become a CPA
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Positive attitude and a growth mindset
• Overtime may be expected

Hourly rate: $36.00/hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
