Job Summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team on a weekend shift. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography and diagnostic scans, obtaining patient history, and explaining routine procedures to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform computed tomography and diagnostic scans in accordance with established practices and protocols.
  • Obtain patient history and explain routine procedures to patients.
  • Maintain patient records and files.
  • Perform general CT procedures and assist with CT-guided IVR procedures.
  • Support and report any identified compliance matters.
  • Participate in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
  • Maintain professional development and education for technical competency.
  • Use standard precautions and personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and licensure for current position.
  • Attend all required educational programs and complete Learn modules.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation and monitoring of the department.
  • Demonstrate complete working knowledge of equipment within assigned area.
  • Knowledge and performance of the Code of Conduct Standards.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Possess and maintain certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Possess and maintain certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT) within 1 year of employment or transferring into position.
  • State of Kentucky License required.
  • BLS from American Heart Association upon hire.
