Chief Financial Officer

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and implementation of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Direct the preparation and evaluation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the credit union's investment activities, including securities, assets, and funding sources.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including NCUA 5300 Call Report and supporting schedules.
  • Lead the Asset/Liability Committee and make recommendations for strategic ALM changes.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and credit union examiners to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Participate in the credit union's strategic planning process and assist in the formulation and execution of credit union policies, objectives, and programs.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a credit union or related field.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from an accredited college or university.
