About the Position:

CesiumAstro is seeking a highly experienced Senior Materials Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will play a critical role in developing and qualifying materials for our leading-edge communications satellites. Your expertise in materials selection, qualification, failure root-cause analysis, standardization, vendor evaluations, and performance verification will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify materials for our communications satellites.
  • You will execute test and qualification plans to assess material performance and survivability in flight conditions.
  • You will analyze data and make recommendations for process improvements and material selection.
