As a Logistics Operations Supervisor, you will lead a team responsible for optimizing delivery routes and managing drivers efficiently while adhering to safety standards and delivery metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily route planning, staffing, and load balancing.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Supervise the accurate loading of materials for delivery.
  • Maintain manifest integrity for all shipments.
  • Provide leadership and training to delivery personnel.
  • Schedule deliveries and dispatch drivers based on customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure proper closure of manifests.
  • Coordinate on-demand services as necessary.
  • Ensure all assets are maintained according to company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a logistics or warehouse setting.
  • Proficient in WMS and TMS systems, routing, and transportation telematics.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
