Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) to become a vital part of our team at River Lodge Assisted Living. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in healthcare and a passion for providing exceptional care to our residents.

Shift: Nights, 6pm-6am

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist elderly residents or those recuperating from medical procedures with personal hygiene needs, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Administer prescribed medications and support residents with mobility and ambulation.
  • Facilitate mobility within the facility and during outings (e.g., medical appointments, walks).
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
  • Support residents in physical therapy exercises as directed.
  • Accompany residents on shopping trips or handle their shopping needs.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living environment.
  • Report any unusual occurrences and respond promptly to emergencies.
  • Engage residents in daily living activities, including meal assistance and social interaction.
Qualifications:
  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one environment and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Physical capability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as required by the role.
  • Proven ability to provide compassionate and supportive care.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Commitment to upholding health and safety standards.
  • Compassionate and supportive demeanor.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or completion of a CNA Program is desirable.
  • Take pride in delivering high-quality care to residents.
