Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

This position is part of the North Clackamas School District's commitment to providing high-quality education to its students. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping students with speech and language-related needs to meet performance standards.

Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a variety of elementary and secondary school settings, focusing on the prevention, assessment, intervention, and program design efforts that are integrated within a school. The primary responsibility will include student safety and appropriate collaboration and attention to each student's readiness to learn, including needed guidance, discipline, and welfare.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with students with a wide range of speech-language-related needs to meet performance standards.
  • Use evidence-based assessment and intervention practices in the prevention, assessment, intervention, and program design efforts.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Provide guidance, discipline, and welfare to students as needed.
Requirements:
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Oregon Board of Examiners For Speech-Language Pathology license or valid TSPC license with Communication Disorders endorsement.
  • Experience working with students who are Limited English Proficient is preferred.
  • Successful experience working in a diverse student environment is preferred.

Salary:
  • Annual Salary Range: $55,988 - $106, Day Contract)
  • Initial placement based on education, experience
  • This position qualifies for an annual approximate Extended Responsibilities SPED Stipend of $5,403.

The North Clackamas School District participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. The district contributes the employer portion; there is also a mandatory employee portion.
