Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Assistant to join our team at Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a Resident Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring residents
  • Assist with mobility and ambulation, including using wheelchairs and walkers
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition or behavior
  • Assist with mealtime, including serving, feeding, and cleaning up
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to the development of care plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving preferred
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
