Premier Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care to adult medical/surgical patients and cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgical patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those requiring mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic pressure monitoring, and administration of vasoactive and/or neuromuscular blocking agents.
- Collaborate with the inter-professional team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and report patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid Ohio RN license.
- Basic computer knowledge and strong organizational skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN degree.
- Professional certification in critical care nursing.
