Courtyard Amarillo is seeking a highly skilled House Attendant to join our team. As a House Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel's public areas and guestrooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Public Area Maintenance: Ensure that all public areas, including marble floors, are clean and well-maintained according to hotel standards.
  • Guestroom Cleaning: Clean and prepare guestrooms for occupancy, including making beds, restocking linens, and ensuring that all amenities are in working order.
  • Luggage Handling: Assist guests with luggage, including carrying bags to and from guestrooms and providing assistance with luggage storage.
  • Lost and Found: Handle all lost and found items, including storing and returning items to their rightful owners.
  • Emergency Procedures: Be aware of and assist in all emergency procedures, including fire drills and medical emergencies.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

Working Conditions: This position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. The House Attendant will be required to stand for long periods and may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and other hazardous materials.
