We are seeking a highly skilled Health Information Management Specialist to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the functions of associates in the file room, archives, distribution center, and release of information areas.
Key Responsibilities- Prioritize workflow and assign tasks to associates to ensure efficient operations.
- Carry out daily functions to ensure all areas are covered for essential workflow.
- Assist with training new hired associates to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accessibility of patient medical records.
- Assist with scheduling to ensure coverage for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Perform functions in the absence of associates to ensure continuity of operations.
- Resolve problems and concerns and report issues to the Operation Manager or Director.
- Assist in requesting and receiving department supplies.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; three or more years' experience in a hospital Health Information Management Department preferred.
- PC skills, including proficiency in keyboard operations and Microsoft Office applications.
- Customer orientation, with the ability to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Privacy and security awareness, with a focus on protecting patient information.
- Organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Quality orientation, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Competitive hourly rate: $20.77-$29.10 per hour.
- Shift differentials available for certain shifts.
- Conifer observed holidays receive time and a half.
